Thien Nguyen joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2025, following a 6-year career in the United States Navy, where he attained the rank of Machinist Mate (Nuclear) 2nd Class Petty Officer. Thien understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Thien holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in CA. Thien serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Thien is a volunteer for the City of San Jose, Capital of Silicon Valley and Our City Forest—an independent, California-based 501(c)3 Organization which is committed to restoring and beautifying the urban forest of San Jose. In his free time, Thien enjoys, cooking, gardening and photography.
